Striving for sustainable growth in Fukuoka and Kyushu through co-creating new values
Since its formation in 2020, “TEAM FUKUOKA” has worked as one to attract foreign companies and strengthen the region's international financial capabilities.
To date, we have attracted over 40 companies, mainly from Asia such as Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan.
In recent years, interest in Kyushu and Fukuoka has been growing due to the semiconductor industry, and Fukuoka was designated as a " Special zone for financial & asset management businesses" in 2024.
With this tailwind in place, we will continue to promote measures that will enable Kyushu to further fulfill its role as a financial business hub, with the aim of moving from Kyushu to Japan.
